That did not happen. A missing construction worker on a public school project would involve the police, the contractor, the insurers and the school district, and there is no version of it that stays quiet.

What the story shows is how fast this happens. A school built within the lifetime of its current pupils has already acquired a body in the foundations, which is one of the oldest building legends in Europe and has simply been carried over.

Noises are reported in the lavatories, and information added in January 2006 describes cold spots in the auditorium.
