A stone chimney is all that is left of a house near Oklahoma City, and people report smoke coming out of it. Two miles on, the road ends at the bridge.

The legend begins before the bridge. Just short of where Air Depot ends at the intersection with 119, outside Oklahoma City, a woman local tradition calls a witch lived in a wooden house with a stone chimney. The house burned down under circumstances nobody explained, and the fireplace and chimney are all that remain standing.

Visitors have reported smoke coming out of that chimney on several occasions.

Carry on about two miles and the road ends at the bridge past Kitchen Lake. What is there is the part that unsettles people most, and it has nothing supernatural about it. Ten or twelve separate piles have been left at the site, each sorted by kind. One of old toys. One of old clothes. Others of other things.

Somebody put them there deliberately, and sorted them. No explanation for that has ever been offered locally, and it is a far stranger thing to come across at the end of a dead end road than any ghost.
