Hamilton Road runs off 900 West near Mulberry, Indiana, reached from State Road 38. Coming from Lafayette you turn right onto 900 West, carry straight through the stop sign, and you are on it.

There are three one lane bridges along the road. The instructions attached to the legend concern the third. Stop on it, flash your headlights four times, then drive on. What you are told to expect is a short man in your rear view mirror, running after the car.

About fifty feet further up the road is an old church graveyard, which is where the story is generally said to originate.
