A former employee gave the fullest account. Objects came off shelves with no explanation. Their hair was pulled and their shoulder was grabbed by something they could not see. In the lower level bakery they saw a head above the freezer.

A colleague had their own experience in the lavatories.

Restaurant staff are useful witnesses for the same reason kitchen staff everywhere are: they work the building at every hour, in every room, for years, and they know exactly which noises it makes normally.

The depot burned in the Camp Fire of 2018 along with most of Magalia and Paradise, and what is recorded here belongs to the building as it was.
